An Italian story
that smells of Puglia

Ours is a story of love for the wine and land of Puglia that began in the early seventies in this region, in Volturino, a hamlet with very ancient origins. The Planisium farm estate takes its name from an archaeological dig that brought to light the remains “… of a Roman villa during non-scientific excavations carried out in the fifties” in Selva Piana, which was almost certainly for agricultural purposes, in the immediate vicinity of the estate. (see cartPuglia.it/). In this context, we chose to specialise and devote our entire farm to the cultivation of grapes and olives for the production of DOC wine and EVO oil respectively. On our current premises, which are undergoing renovation, we have started down a path of innovation that will take us towards modernisation of the technologies adopted, expansion from 6 to 12 hectares of our vineyards, and the construction of our new eco-sustainable gravity-flow winery, open to welcome all wine tourists from Puglia, Italy and the world.
