1

The three towers are the symbol of Volturino. They represent and evoke Capotorre, the tower of Tertiveri and the tower of Pietra, the remains of the Montecorvino Cathedral, which still exist today and embrace the entire area of Volturino.

2

The figure of Aeolus stands for the strong wind typical in the Volturino area. This is a land where the foehn, sirocco and mistral winds blow.

3

The wings are those of the red kite, a bird of prey often spotted in flight against the clear skies over the Daunian Mountains.

4

The branch with its leaves is a reference to agricultural activity, in particular the cultivation of grapes and olives.
